Where you’ll want to eat this winter

While it’s freezing around the rest country — it’s a perfect 75 degrees and sunny here in good ol’ Florida, meaning it is prime restaurant opening time. Here are the openings worth tracking, listed in alphabetical order.

Able & Baker

PROJECTED OPENING: Early February 2016

WHO:Tatanka Guerrero, Luiz Fleury, John McCarthy, Ryan Tate

WHAT: Part bar, part eatery, it’ll feature drinks by the co-creator of Radio Bar along with bites “inspired by traditional Japanese kaiseki tasting menus” in an industrial setting.

WHERE: 920 Alton Road

Bachour Bakery & Bistro


WHO: Antonio Bachour and Henry Hané

WHAT: A 40-seat “progressive” bakery and bistro concept from the popular pastry chef Antonio Bachour. It’ll a variety of breakfast and lunch items, along with Bachour’s
signature pastries.

WHERE: 600 Brickell Avenue

PB Station


WHO: Jose Mendin, Andreas Schreiner and Sergio Navarro aka the Pubbelly Boys

WHAT: The Pubbelly Restaurant empire is finally making its way to mainland Miami with the opening of PB Station. Housed inside the soon-to-be open Langford Hotel, it’ll serve up shareable plates that the Pubbelly guys have built their reputation on.
