Ultimate Guide to New Year’s Eve 2016 Parties in Miami

Icon Opens Doors on NYE – formerly the home of Miami Beach mega club Mansion, new night club Icon will celebrate its grand opening on New Year’s Eve with live performances, a midnight toast and more surprises. To attend the event, you must be invited or suggested by an invitee. Event will take place Thursday, December 31 starting at 9 p.m. at 1235 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach.


Drake at E11EVEN – quite possibly the most anticipated NYE performance in Miami, E11EVEN will host rap and hip hop superstar Drake as we count down to midnight. Event will take place on Thursday, December 31 at E11EVEN Miami, 29 NE 11th Street, Miami. Tickets are $300 per person and include an open bar, a midnight champagne toast and passed appetizers from 9-11 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.


NYE at Dolce, Gale Rooftop, Rec Room & Regent Cocktail Club – enjoy a five course dinner menu at Dolce Italian before making your way downstairs to Rec Room (where SKAM’s PS1 will be spinning and you can enjoy an open bar from 8 p.m. until midnight), upstairs to the rooftop (featuring DJ Crooked and an open bar from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m.) or to Regent Cocktail Club for some craft cocktails, an open bar from 8 p.m. until midnight, and a live DJ performance. Can’t decide which to tackle? Enjoy all three with the Gale Hotel’s All Access Pass, available for $359. Events will take place Thursday, December 31 at the Gale South Beach, 1690 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. Magic City New Year’s Eve at Nautilus’s Driftwood Room – cheers to the New Year with a special five-course dinner by Chef Alex Guarnaschelli and Chef de Cuisine Lucas Marino at Nautilus’s Driftwood Room. Early seating is from 7-9 p.m.; late seating starts at 9:30 p.m. and allows guests to sit through the evening. Then, head poolside to continue the party! Event will take place on Thursday, December 31 at Nautilus, 1825 Collins Ave., Miami Beach. Early seating dinner is $275 per person plus tax and gratuity. Late seating is $395 per person plus tax and gratuity. For an additional $100, keep the party going poolside.


Midnight Masquerade at Nikki Beach – don a mask and a secret identity and celebrate NYE at Nikki Beach this year! The event will feature haute cuisine by CHef Frank Ferreiro, live entertainment and a private fireworks display at midnight. Event will take place on Thursday, December 31 at Nikki Beach, 1 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. Garden Dinners start at $650 (for two) and includes a three-course meal, admission for the night and one bottle of your choice. Five Star New Year’s Eve at Watson Island – this all inclusive party will feature a premium dinner, special breakfast, open bar, fireworks and performances by Robin Schulz, Dave Sol, Marcos Noel and MZ Poppins. Dress code is white & gold. Event takes place Thursday, December 31 starting at 10 p.m. at a private manor on Watson Island. Tickets are $550 for ladies and $750 for gentlemen (plus service charge) via wantickets. The Weeknd & Kygo at Fontainbleau Bleaulive Poolside – Event will feature music from pop sensation The Weeknd (‘Can’t Feel My Face’) and will take place Thursday, December 31 at Fontainebleau, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach starting at 9 p.m. General Admission tickets are $275 (plus service charge) and include premium open bar from 9 p.m. – 12 a.m., available here.


Welcome to the Neighborhood with DJ Arthur Baker at the Vagabond – celebrate the new year ‘Miami throwback’ style at the Vagabond Hotel Pool Deck, which will host a no-cover party complete with complimentary midnight toast and a bar bites menu. Event will take place Thursday, December 31 at the Vagabond Hotel, 7301 Biscayne Blvd., Miami starting at 8 p.m.
