Face it. Halloween stores pop up like ghosts here; you never know where you’ll find one. Whether you want to sport a ghoulish getup or a costume that will show off that Miami bod you’ve been working on all year long, these 13 Halloween stores have got you covered from head to … well, to at least your midsection.
1 Disney Store
So you don’t want to dress up, but you don’t want to be left out either. Visit the Disney Store to choose from a variety of accessories, like movie T-shirts, tiaras, and mouse ears. If you’re still ‘Frozen’ in time, or just having a hard time letting it go, check out the array of Elsa and Ana merchandise and accessories you could use to put together a creative costume, and on the off chance you’re a Star Wars fan, there may be a Princess Leia or Storm Trooper costume you can slip into.
2 Spirit Halloween Store
Spirit Halloween Store, a nationwide pop-up, is the type of superstore that offers more than traditional costumes. From brand name options like Leg Avenue, to more traditional type costumes like the good old pumpkin sack, these stores are sure to help you when you’re making a last minute purchase for that costume party you thought you wouldn’t attend. Plus, Spirit offers extended store hours in the weeks leading to Halloween, and everything’s organized neatly into sections, like the one pictured below. There are eight locations in South Florida, at malls like Sunset Place, Westland Mall, and Dolphin Mall, as well as shopping centers in Cutler Bay, Kendall, Hallandale, Miramar, and Hollywood.

It is also known as “La Tienda de los Disfraces,” or, “the costume store” in Spanish.
4 ABC Costume
If you’re looking for a store that doesn’t overwhelm you with too many options, then ABC Costume Shop is the location for you. The store offers options on a catalogue by the door, and also gives its costumers the option of purchasing or renting.Located in the heart of Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, ABC Costume might provide you with some additional inspiration – considering all the art around (and even outside) its location.
5 Halloween Megastore
With a location in the former Out of the Closet space on Alton Road, and two others near Midtown and in the Grove, this super store offers a wide variety of options, from traditional costumes to brand name options like Leg Avenue. Consider it the Costco of Halloween stores; From wigs to decorations, and from costumes to quirky accessories, this store has everything you didn’t even know you needed!
